So how I actually discovered this company was interesting. I found them out through Instagram, around the time where the release launch of their previous lip color, a blue lipstick with high pigmentation as can ever be, named "DGAF", and then I found their product being featured on a local You tuber named "Chrisspy" and their bright loudmouth neon orange lipstick named "Bang! Bang!" was on her October favorites video. When I saw that video, I fell instantly in head over heels with how bright and pigmented a orange lipstick can be. I was instantly sold.

Blow is a forest, emerald green, with a bright finish after applying, with a blue-ish undertone underneath. In person, it can represent a gothic/vampy look. The ladies made note on their website that this lipstick is much more creamier than any of their other matte shades, but honestly, it's not that much of a bother or a big difference. I can see why they would prefer this shade to have more of a luster finish. At first when you open the lipstick itself, I've noticed a lot of bubbles surrounding around it. Don't worry, it's just moisture bubbles, plus the lipstick might have gotten a little bit of heat when inside the package.

Bane

Bane is literally the BLACKEST BLACK you'll ever grace yourself upon, with a shine over top. A true, very pigmented matte black. Very creamy, and it really doesn't feel like a matte finish on your lips, so it won't feel like it's drying. Got around a good 7 hours of wear, which is surprising because some black lipsticks won't carry that quality with it. Just apply a little concealer with a precision brush and clean any over lined areas you messed up on.
Dupes: Lime Crime's "Styletto" is similar to Bane, but the issue with that is Styletto has a glossy finish when applying it, verses with Bane has a matte finish. Melt swears to their own secrecy that their shades must all have a matte finish and that's what makes them special and unique with their lipsticks. If you don't like a matte finish, then definitely try Styletto as another alternative. But Bane is special like no other matte black lipstick and worth stocking up in your collection.

Conclusion: I can honestly say that I love these shades. I think these ladies deserve a round of applause for the creativity they've both put into the whole release launch, because it's absolutely amazing, and they deserve it. For $19.00 a tube, 4.5g/ 0.16 oz of product, you get a lot of product. And when I mean a lot, I mean A LOT! These shades all come in a matte finish, so it will look more cleaner looking on your lips. And lastly, they will hold you over almost around 7 hours of wear, which is the most amazing part of all. All the shades are gorgeous, vivid, and they are cruelty free, vegan, paraben free, and gluten free. And if any of you are kind of afraid on stepping out of your comfort zone, not so sure if you can pull these colors off, or probably not even allowed to wear them, don't you worry about that. These ladies created neutral to even more wearable colors for you to try out. So in the end, every one of you will find your happy medium. Will be reviewing more of their shades for you all in the future! Go check them out!
