Tutorial Time! ♡ : Summer Glamorous Gold Eyes Tutorial w/ Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked 2 Palette

Hi lovelies! So today I'm going to introduce to you my very first eye shadow tutorial, and I want it to be a very simple, yet easy and natural look that will be perfect for Summer time, whether it's going out for work in the day, you have a fun romantic date later on, or a night out with your girlfriends. This look is sultry and glamorous, and it's a very safe look if most of you aren't too familiar with makeup. It's also very build able, so if you wanted to intensify the look, you can control it by how more you apply the product. Without further adieu, let's get started!

To begin this look;
Take Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion in the shade "Original".
Apply just a tiny bit directly from the tube.
Then blend fully outwards on your finger all around the lid.

Dab just a little bit under the lash line.

Let it dry for about 60 seconds.
Take an E.L.F. Studio Small Angled Brush.
From the Naked 2 Palette, take the shades "Foxy" and "Bootycall"
And lightly dab back and forth between both shades and take it to the inner corner of the eyelid, and to the brow bone.

Take a Bare Minerals Tapered Shadow Brush.
Go over into the palette to the shade "Suspect".
Apply that shade to the inner half of the lid.

Take that same brush and go over to the shade "Pistol" in the palette.
Dab that onto the outer half of the lid.

Next, going over to layer the eye lid to warm it up, take the same brush over the shades "Half Baked" and "Chopper".
Lightly dab back and forth between both shades to get a mixture.
And just dab that directly onto the center of the eye lid to warm up the colors.

Take that same brush.
Take the shade "Busted".
And right on the tip end of the brush, apply it under the lower lash line half way with it.

Use that same brush, and go back over to the shade "Half Baked".
Apply that color to the starting corner of the lash line to lightly intensify the look and blend it in with the shade "Busted".

Take a Bare Minerals Crease Eye Shadow Brush.
Take the shade "Busted" again.
And stamp it in the crease first, then lightly blend back and forth.

Take both the shades "Blackout" and "Busted" from the palette, light dab between both colors back and forth.
Tap off the extra, then trace the outer port of the eyelid, more towards near the end of your lash line.
Take that same blending brush, and just lightly blend over all the colors to have the colors gradually blend with each other.
Take that same blending brush and go back over to that shade "Half Baked".
Tap it off as much as you can, and just lightly trace over the upper crease, just to soften the look with out it looking too blacked out or bruised. This is what gives the look it's sultry feel it was needing.

Take an E.L.F. Liquid Liner in the shade "Black".
And line your upper lash line, creating a short but soft wing.

Take your favorite mascara to complete this look, I'm using Bare Minerals Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara in the shade "Intense Black".

And if you want to add some more glamour to the look, you can definitely apply some natural looking false lashes. I'm using Ardell Natural Lashes in #117.

And we're finished!

So that guys is the finished look! I hope you all enjoyed it! Would you be trying this look for Summer? Let me know what you think of it!

Thank you so much for reading!

Love you, xx

Upcoming! ♡ : Lime Crime's Lipstick in "Serpentina" Preview

Hi lovelies! So I thought I would share some wonderful and interesting information with you. Most of my viewers who stumbled onto this website are just as big of Lime Crime fans, as am I. As of today, I actually checked in Lime Crime's website, and it looks like they're bringing Serpentina back for this years Fall season again, and for the 6th year anniversary of Lime Crime!

According to prior releases, Serpentina was originally released in the "Alchemy" collection on October 13th, 2012, and the collection came along with the lipstick shade Poisonberry, the Alchemy Eye Shadow Palette (both permanent on Lime Crime's website) and with a limited edition booklet called "The Mook" with pictures from the collection, beauty recipes, and an index glossary of alchemy symbols. The shade was re-released again last year on October 15th, 2013, just in time for the Halloween season. The newest update is that it actually IS for sale on Lime Crime's website, but no new advertisements. But I'm more than positive that it will stay on the market longer this year, and I'm super excited for all of you to try it, because it's such a sultry, yet seducing and wonderful shade to stash with your collection!

Serpentina available for $18.00 USD, at www.limecrime.com

I'm currently taking more pictures and swatches for you, and the review will be up around next week, if not the following week after, just in time as of Lime Crime will announce when it will be up for sale today! I'll keep you all updated, and make sure to keep your eyes peeled when this scrumptious, guilty pleasure shade will be up for grabs! Can't wait to share this review with you, and hope you enjoy it!

Thank you so much for reading!
Love you, xx

Review Time! ♡ : Pretty Zombie Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in "3 Witches"

Hi lovelies! So I decided to review a new company, just so I can introduce more products and get a different change of pace. I discovered this company not too long ago, and apparently this company sells a product that is supposed to be THE REAL equivalent to Lime Crime's Velvetines, but a more hydrating formula and cheaper alternative, with a better variety and more selections to choose from. This post today will not only cover one of the shades in the collection, but this will also be an introduction to Pretty Zombie Cosmetics. 3 Witches is an ultraviolet, dark purple shade and it's one of the most popular shades sold by Pretty Zombie Cosmetics. 3 Witches was premiered on Pretty Zombie Cosmetics in early January of 2014.

This lip color is liquid lipstick, once applied it's set to dry as a matte finish, and it's never supposed to smudge, nor budge on your lips. It's a beautiful shade, something you really never see in the makeup stores to this day. 3 Witches is definitely a shade that's always worn under a daring statement, and it's a wonderful piece to keep in your collection if you've been looking for a purple with a dark sheen glow to it, and still have that edgy but sensual look that you want.

This liquid lipstick is really individual, as of it's color alone and even the packaging itself. Looking at it from outside the tube, it has this large plastic dome surrounding outside with the lip product holding inside. The handle of the tube has the logo of Pretty Zombie Cosmetics (which was sketched by Kotsu-Direngrey Art) and circled around the logo is the shades name on the other side, with almost a blood dripping, Halloween wickedly cool printed font, with also a nice heavy feeling mirror looking handle peeking up at the top. Opening the product, there's not that much smell to it, and the packaging itself is very cute, and almost very durable, most likely perfect for traveling or sticking in your purse to catch up on extra touch up's throughout the day.

3 Witches available for $12.00 USD at www.prettyzombiecosmetics.com

The thing that's quite lovely about Pretty Zombie Cosmetics is that their shades are extremely diverse and so much of a bigger selection to choose from. This is one of the most gorgeous light ultra-violet purples I have ever found in my life. The shade when wearing feels very wicked and sultry, but still youthful and has that edgy twist to it. Pretty Zombie Cosmetics describes this shade to be a "Deep Purple", which I can say that the description is correct on. The undertone in it has a solid mixture between pink in some areas, while fading off into a cool ocean blue. It's something that can be entirely universal to anyone, and I do recommend this shade if you want just a little bit more change of pace into your lipstick collection. The finish of this lipstick is matte, meaning it sets dry after it's first few uses of application. I got around 6 1/2 - 7 hours of wear with this and touch up's were very minimal. More than amazed with this lasting power, and the formula was quite hydrating too. No lip liner needed with this, but still recommended to watch how it's lasting on the lips, because a couple of touch up's are needed if going out for more than 5 hours with this lip shade.

Dupes: I can't think of any off the top of my head that's even remotely related to 3 Witches, just because of it's shade, let alone the wonderful lasting power. If I do think of any in the future, I will definitely updated the website and let you know.

Conclusion: I absolutely adore 3 Witches. This has got to be one of my most reached for shades right now, while created some dark, and wicked makeup looks. It's a color that has a happy medium to it, and it's definitely a shade to try out if you want just a different pace to your lip collection, but still something that's not too crazy, but yet not so simple. It's a color that can be universal to anyone and Pretty Zombie Cosmetics is a company that I will look forward to reviewing more products from in the future, because it's truly one of my most favorite companies that offer affordable liquid lipsticks. If you get 3 Witches, make sure you have fun wearing it!

Review Time! ♡ : Melt Cosmetics Lipstick in "Space Cake"

Hey lovelies! So today, I thought I'd go back in my collection and review another lip shade from Melt Cosmetics, since I've been highly requested to review more of their shades. Back in February of 2014, I reviewed Melt Cosmetics new release of lipsticks "Blow" and "Bane", and after that I instantly got obsessed with the rest of the shades they made. Space Cake is truly something different, and different meaning in a cool, interesting and edgy way. Melt Cosmetics is simultaneous growing, and they're truly a company who sets trends, and will be forever capturing people's hearts for their creativity. Space Cake was released on October 4th, 2013 at 12:00AM PST along with the shades "DGAF", "6six6", "Bang! Bang!", "Belladonna2", and "Shady Lady" on Melt Cosmetics website.

*NOTE* Photos above are not mine. All rights go to Danielle DeBruno (Photographer), Lora Arellano (Owner), and Dana Bomar (Owner)

Space Cake is a shade that's very unique to it's name, and it's a shade that's quite beautiful. It's very edgy, but still has that dark, enticing and sultry look to it. This is actually a matte lipstick, once applied to the lips, it's supposed to set as a dry finish. On Melt's website, their description for this shade is put; "1 cup of space dust. 2 alien eggs. 1 tablespoon of sugar. 1/2 cup of Dana. 1/2 cup of Lora. And a secret spice we would have to kill you if we told you. Mix all ingredients into a large bowl and get the best grey lip color in the universe".

Photo above taken from my Instagram page.

When first receiving this lipstick, your going to be suckered by the cute, sleek packaging it comes in. A smooth, round black bullet surface with their purple imprinted logo written in the middle of the tube. The box it comes with has pink lips melted along the side, no doubt it's referenced to Dana Bomar's lips (one of the bosses at Melt Cosmetics) and with black and gray horizontal lines running down all along the box, and their purple "Melt" logo printed on the left side on the top of the box.

Space Cake available for $19.00 USD at www.meltcosmetics.com

This is one of the most coolest, yet beautiful shades I have ever owned. The shade when wearing feels very edgy, seducing, but also unique to set that trend effect of looking different. The description for this lip shade will be more of as a blue-teal under toned dark gray, with a lustrous white sheen sparkle finish over top. Blue based lipsticks looks just absolutely beautiful on everyone, and Melt is known for making all their lipsticks to be universal to each person. When applying it, it feels so smooth while gliding onto the lips, there's absolutely no hassle when sets off and finishes. The finish of this lipstick is matte, meaning it sets dry after application. I got around a good 7 1/2 - 8 hours of wear, and touch up's were very minimal, and no lip liner applied with it! Space Cake is definitely a cute shade to have in your collection, if your at that range for not wanting to go overboard by wearing a noticeable lip color, but you still want to set that edge by setting a statement.

Dupes: I can't think of any off the top of my head that's even remotely related to Space Cake, just because of it's lasting power, let alone it's unique color and it's vibrancy. If I think of any, I will definitely update and let you know.

Conclusion: Space Cake is just truly a shade I adore, and it's a shade that is definitely different. It a type of color that is not too harsh but it's not too boring either, and it will look so flattering on just about anyone. It's a wonderful piece to keep in your collection, because it's one of those colors that can be something to pick up if you just want a different change of pace to your lip routine. It's a color that will definitely not disappoint, and I highly recommend Space Cake to just about anyone. If you get Space Cake, make sure you have fun wearing it!
